You can connect repeater fields to native Elementor widgets through the plugin, adding dynamic integration without requiring custom templates. This feature allows you to use existing Elementor widgets to display repeater content, making it easier to achieve the desired layout while maintaining flexibility.
- Subfield Mapping: Map specific subfields (e.g., title, content, image, or link) directly to the widget’s controls.
- No Templates Required: All design work is done in the Elementor editor.
- Quick Setup: Ideal for simpler use cases where full design flexibility isn’t needed.
- Interactive Elements: Create engaging components like tabs, accordions and carousels, allowing users to view content selectively rather than displaying everything at once.
Supported fields:
- Tabs
- Toggle
- Accordion (Pro only)
- Icon List (Pro only)
- Social Icons (Pro only)
- Testimonial carousel (Pro only)
- Reviews (Pro only)
How to Use:
- Add a Supported Native Widget
Drag and drop a widget from the list above into your design. - Enable Repeater Support
In the widget’s settings, select your repeater field under the ACF Repeater section. - Map Subfields
Map repeater subfields to the widget’s controls, such as:- Text: For titles or descriptions.
- Icon: To display icons in icons list, Social icons and Reviews widgets.
- Links: For URLs in icons list, Social icons and Reviews widgets. Read more about Icons & supported ACF sub fields.
- Image: For testimonial image in Testimonial carousel & Reviews widgets.
- Adjust Display Options
Set the number of items, ordering, and data source (e.g., current post, options page, or another post by ID). - Disable Elementor Cache (If Necessary)
Sometimes Elementor’s cache can prevent dynamic updates from appearing. To resolve this go to widget Advanced tab Set Cache settings to “Inactive”.
Important Note:
In the Elementor editor, you’ll see dummy non-dynamic values instead of the actual data. This is expected. The live preview on the frontend will display the correct content.
