The Easy ACF Repeater and Easy ACF Repeater Carousel widgets are designed specifically to work seamlessly with ACF repeater fields, providing advanced control and flexibility. Use either of these widgets to display your repeater content dynamically, whether you prefer a standard list layout or a more visually appealing carousel.
Key Features:
- Template-Based: Choose a template to define how each repeater item is displayed.
- No Subfield Mapping: The entire design is handled through the chosen template.
- Custom No Data Message: Display a message when no data is available.
- Rich Display Options: For example, the Carousel widget supports autoplay, slide speed, and navigation controls.
How to Use:
- Create a Template
Create an Elementor template that defines how each repeater item is displayed. see the “Create Templates with Repeater Data“
Add the Repeater Widget
Drag and drop the Easy ACF Repeater or Easy ACF Repeater Carousel widget into your page, post, or template. - Choose a Data Source
Select your repeater field in the widget’s settings. Options include:- Current Post
- Options Page
- Post by ID (Pro feature)
- Set the Widget’s Template
Select the Elementor template you created for the repeater (item 1). - Adjust Display Settings
Use controls like item limit, equal heights, order direction, and “No Data” message for full customization. - Add search field
Activate the Live Search feature to allow users to search within suitable for repeaters with many rows directly (Pro only. Easy repeater widget only). - Disable Elementor Cache (If Necessary)
Sometimes Elementor’s cache can prevent dynamic updates from appearing. To resolve this go to widget Advanced tab Set Cache settings to “Inactive”.
Important Note:
In the Elementor editor, you’ll see dummy non-dynamic values instead of the actual data. This is expected. The live preview on the frontend will display the correct content.
